CC also received an Honorable Mention in the Research/Report General category for the CC: 2004 Economic Summary and Analysis. The document reflects CC’s development of a methodology to specifically isolate and measure the activity of what are known as “knowledge-based businesses.” This methodology was unlike other typical “technology” sector analyses in that it included the “creative” industries as well: graphic and visual design, art and photography, media production, and many others.
