Georgia Tech Savannah

The Georgia Tech Regional Engineering Program is the undergraduate arm of Georgia Tech Savannah. Working in partnership with Armstrong Atlantic State University, Georgia Southern University and Savannah State University, area students may earn Georgia Tech bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering without relocating to Atlanta. Students are also offered many opportunities for hands-on learning while they complete their degree programs, ranging from undergraduate research projects and interships to Georgia Tech’s world-renowned cooperative program.

Georgia Tech Savannah currently offers graduate programs of advanced study and research in three areas: civil and environmental engineering, electrical and computer engineering, and mechanical engineering. Under the advisement of internationally-prominent faculty, graduate students are involved in advanced-level coursework and independent research in areas as varied as coastal monitoring, beach nourishment, blast response of structures, imaging of geomaterials under earthquake conditions, alternative energy, maritime logistics, 3D graphics streaming, high performance computing for radar and sonar, communications theory, and intelligent evolutional systems.
