Our Mission

The Creative Coast Alliance is tasked with making Savannah the best community in the country by building a diverse, innovative and higher-wage future that greatly improves quality of life by increasing economic opportunities for everyone.

We are passionate about Coastal Savannah. We will be a results-oriented catalyzing agent in making it the most desirable city to locate a knowledge-based business, by promoting our incomparable quality of life, showcasing our broad range of creative, educational, cultural and technical amenities, and by providing exceptional locational value and relevant transition and growth assistance to our clients and to our community.

Our Vision

We envision a Savannah that, as the hub and economic center of “The Creative Coast”, is both beautiful AND smart. We see an all-inclusive, multi-cultural Savannah that values innovation and economic diversity. A Savannah that treasures its past but looks to the future by fostering a dynamic climate for creative, knowledge-based jobs, alongside the traditional economic sectors.

We see a Savannah that sets the standard, and leads the state and the region by leveraging its incomparable quality of life to create a vital core of talent, tolerance, diversity and culture that attracts and organically grows a higher-wage, higher-skill, environmentally sustainable economic future throughout the coastal region.

Our Values

  • We respect the individual, and believe that individuals who are treated with respect and given responsibility respond by giving their best.
  • We require complete honesty and integrity in everything we do.
  • We make commitments with care, and then live up to them. In all things, we do what we say we are going to do.
  • Work is an important part of life, and it should be fun. Being a good business person does not mean being stuffy and boring.
  • We are frugal. We guard and conserve the project’s resources with at least the same vigilance that we would use to guard and conserve our own personal resources.
  • We insist on giving our best effort in everything we undertake. Furthermore, we see a huge difference between ‘good mistakes’ (best effort, bad result) and ‘bad mistakes’ (sloppiness or lack of effort).
  • Clarity in understanding our mission, our goals, and what we expect from each other is critical to our success.
  • We are believers in the Golden Rule. In all our dealings we will strive to be friendly and courteous, as well as fair and compassionate.
  • We feel a sense of urgency on any matters related to our clients and community. We own problems and we are always responsive. We are client and community driven. *Our responsibility to the betterment of the community is paramount. We will uphold the public trust placed in us and will at all times operate to further the interests of our clients and the larger community, by only pursuing projects that result in positive outcomes for all.
  • We believe in the strength of diversity, the bonds of community, the role of tolerance, the importance of sustainability, and take seriously our responsibilities in fostering appropriate economic development.
