&lt;p&gt;DUTIES:
&lt;br /&gt;The Software Trainer is responsible for delivering business office software training sessions utilizing generally accepted adult education principles to attain pre-determined learning objectives. Trainers help employees maintain and improve their job skills, and possibly prepare for jobs requiring greater skill.
&lt;br /&gt;We are seeking associate to mid-level candidates who have a college degree plus one to seven years of training experience. Applicants with an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered as well. The position is based in our headquarters office in midtown Savannah, GA.
&lt;br /&gt;The Specialist will have overall responsibility for: 
&lt;br /&gt;&#8226;	Keeping abreast of software applications 
&lt;br /&gt;&#8226;	Establishing and maintains instructor credibility
&lt;br /&gt;&#8226;	Managing the learner environment
&lt;br /&gt;&#8226;	Responding to changes in the environment
&lt;br /&gt;&#8226;	Demonstrating effective communication skills
&lt;br /&gt;&#8226;	Demonstrating effective presentation skills
&lt;br /&gt;&#8226;	Demonstrating effective questioning skills and techniques
&lt;br /&gt;&#8226;	Responding to learners&#8217; needs for clarification and feedback
&lt;br /&gt;&#8226;	Responsible for assessing the subsequent impact upon participant needs
&lt;br /&gt; 
&lt;br /&gt;KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, &amp; ABILITIES: 
&lt;br /&gt;1.	Practical knowledge of training theories, principles and techniques in order to conduct training.
&lt;br /&gt;2.	Knowledge of adult learning theories, and the ability to incorporate interactive learning into all deliveries.
&lt;br /&gt;3.	Ability to provide effective training in a classroom setting, including the operation of standard audiovisual and computer equipment.
&lt;br /&gt;4.	Ability to communicate orally and in writing in an effective manner
&lt;br /&gt;5.	Outstanding presentation and public speaking abilities 
&lt;br /&gt;6.	Ability to learn quickly and without formal instruction 
&lt;br /&gt;7.	Strong interpersonal skills, capable of impacting others' attitudes and opinions 
&lt;br /&gt;8.	Be organized and have ability to work independently 
&lt;br /&gt;9.	Poise, ability to think and respond calmly under pressure

&lt;p&gt;EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
&lt;br /&gt;&#8226;	Computer applications (MS Office suite, Visio, MS Project)
&lt;br /&gt;&#8226;	Bachelor&#8217;s Degree is required or equivalent work experience.&lt;/p&gt;

      <title>Weekend Art Instructors needed for Spring Quarter</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;SCAD Community Education is currently hiring weekend workshop instructors for the Spring Quarter.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Workshops take place primarily on Saturdays and can last from 3 - 6 hours in length.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We are seeking instructors for both our Contemporary Craft series and Studio Art series.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;SCAD is specifically seeking workshop proposals for:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;- Resin Jewelry
&lt;br /&gt;- Metal Craft
&lt;br /&gt;- Artist Cards

&lt;p&gt;Please send a one paragraph workshop proposal to &lt;a href="mailto:ktrantha@scad.edu"&gt;ktrantha@scad.edu&lt;/a&gt; by Jan. 2, 2009.  The proposal should also include a supply list for a class of 10 (can be estimated).  Interviews will take place the week of Jan. 5th. Those contacted for interviews will be expected to bring examples of work that would be created in the proposed workshop.&lt;/p&gt;
