TechLINKS – Sept 03 2007 After one weekend in Savannah on “The Creative Coast,” Oddpodz founders Karen Post and Jocelyn Ring agreed that this is where their business belonged. The company linked up with The Creative Coast Initiative (TCCi) to help relocate their social networking business from Tampa, Florida and establish their headquarters in Savannah. Oddpodz has teamed up with TCCi for help getting in and getting plugged into one of America’s most creative regions as they to execute on their plan to unite the world of creatives far and wide.
Oddpodz, a global nation for creatives, is where change agents, problem solvers and creative people unite on the Internet. Founded in 2006 as an online community, the company has ambitious goals of growing beyond a pure e-destination, it plans to build a thriving, diverse revenue enterprise.
“Savannah has the creative energy we needed to truly grow an international brand. And, the initiative that TCCi has launched to attract other knowledge-based, creative and technology companies further complements our vision and is an ideal business/lifestyle location.” explained Karen Post, CEO. “We considered San Francisco, New York and Austin, but with the array of business resources and assistance from TCCi’s Chris Miller and his team, the choice was easy.”
