SPINE & SPORT WELCOMES NEW PERSONAL TRAINER, KIM JUNIS.

(SAVANNAH, GA) April 4, 2008– Spine & Sport welcomes new Certified Personal Trainer Kim Junis! Kim graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She continued pursuing her education and received her Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology in 2007 from the University of South Carolina (USC). While earning her Master’s Kim worked as a graduate assistant at the USC Clinical Exercise Research Center. There she assisted with yearly faculty and staff stress testing, all of the athlete fitness testing for University teams and free exercise consultations and training for faculty, staff and their families.
Kim has received her ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) Personal Trainer Certification and plans to receive a certification in Weight Management. Before completing her ACSM certification Kim worked as a physical therapy aide for Spine & Sport and learned the ropes before she began taking personal training clients. Kim enjoys the unique atmosphere at Spine & Sport. She looks forward to training individuals who seek and are willing to make long-term lifestyle changes through proper diet and adequate physical activity.

Spine & Sport is a company which offers Physical Therapy, Personal Training and Weight Management Programs. The Physical Therapists are Board Certified Clinical Specialists and/or have advanced certifications in treatment of spinal pathology. All of Spine & Sport’s Personal Trainers are certified by nationally recognized fitness associations. The business is open 7am-8pm, offers easy to schedule appointments and has convenient locations in Effingham and Wilmington Island and Richmond Hill.
