Launches New Web Site and Announces New Services

Savannah, GA. 2CarGarage Contemporary Art Gallery launched their new web site this month. The site, http://www.2cargallery.com, features an online inventory of paintings by the artists 2CarGarage represents, as well as biographical information about each artist and an exhibition schedule. The gallery, open for a year and a half, currently represents Savannah artists Betsy Cain, Marcus Kenney, Preston Russell, Craig Drennen, Todd Schroeder, Larry LeVow, Elena Madden, John Olenyik, Milutin Pavlovic, Veronika Varner, Alexandro Santana, Daniel Smith and Heath Ritch; Athens artists Tracy Jefferies, Bruce Knecht, Hannah Jones and Andy Cherewick; Virginia-based artist Kazaan Vivieros; and Brooklyn-based artist Zechariah Vincent.
The Gallery presents monthly exhibitions, featuring artists who are intellectually motivated and who are leaders in their craft and their conception.
2CarGarage Contemporary Art Gallery announces new services for individuals, collectors, small businesses, and corporate clients, including consultation on art placement and acquisitions, as well as installation and collection management. The gallery specializes in assembling fine art collections for businesses and individuals. They offer “on approval” privileges to preview works in your business setting or client home before purchase. “We provide full-service art packages for office spaces, hotels, corporations, restaurants, spas, and residential clients. We will review your interior design scheme and work with you to provide original works of art for your venue,” says Wendy Cooper, art consultant and director of 2CarGarage.
Cooper has 15 years experience in fine art marketing and fine art collection management. She received her Master of Fine Arts degree in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Studio Art with a minor in business from the University of Georgia. She also completed graduate coursework in interiors in the Historic Preservation program at the University of Georgia and participated in the Studies Abroad Program in Classical Archaeology in Carthage, Tunisia. While working in her bachelors, Cooper participated in the Museum Studies program of the Georgia Museum of Art, where she curated exhibitions for their Southeast Traveling Exhibition Service.
Cooper’s professional background includes a 10-year career at the Georgia Museum of Art, where she coordinated the public relations and fund-raising efforts of the Museum. She subsequently acted as Director of the Friends of the Museum, during which she directed their collecting efforts, organizing collecting tours to galleries in locations including New York, Paris, Houston, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Cooper now devotes her time to her fine art and to organizing exhibitions for 2CarGarage and consulting artists and collectors for fine art placement.
