USCB’s historic campus on the banks of the Intracoastal Waterway in the heart of charming, downtown Beaufort is now the North Campus of the state’s newest four-year university. Its new South Campus, which opened in 2004, sits at the gateway to Hilton Head Island and now has brand new on-campus student apartments. Both campuses offer undergraduate programs of study to some 1500 students, who pay state university tuition but often feel as if they are studying at a small, liberal arts college.

Both North and South Campuses offer small classes, plenty of parking, flexible schedules, cutting edge technology, easy access to the beach, reasonable tuition (including in-state rates for Chatham and Effingham county residents of Georgia), scholarships and financial aid, an array of student services, undergraduate research opportunities and an exceptional faculty.

Beginnings bring opportunities, and USCB is at the beginning of programs, customs and traditions. It’s an exciting time at an exceptional place.
