This class teaches the use of composition and how it makes the difference between a good photograph and a great one. Students explore the basics of the visual language, and discuss topics such as framing, perspective, foreground/background, scale and the use of shape, line and texture. Students learn the concepts of visual composition and design through weekly projects and studies of various photographers' work.
