The Savannah Waterfront Association announces the 27th Annual Savannah Seafood Festival presented by Verizon Wireless! Those Shrimp, their beginning to boil, and fry and jambalaya. The Savannah Seafood Festival is a weekend full of free family fun on historic River Street featuring over 60 regional Arts and Craft exhibitors offering a wide variety of handmade craft to fine art. All exhibitors are selected through a jury process and the artist/crafters are on site for sales and information.

Head to River Street to watch the premier of the Savannah Ski Show! USA Water Ski has sanctioned this event produced by Ski Savannah. The club and special guests will perform stunts, pyramids, wakeboarding and more; there are no bad spots for spectators as the show takes place right on the Savannah River Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

Live entertainment on two stages includes The (World Famous?!!) Crabettes, Jeff Beasley, The Girlfriends and headlining Zydeco giants Lil’ Malcolm & the House Rockers and Lil’ Bryan & The Travelers Friday and Saturday nights! In addition to music, there will be plenty of dance, clogging and other attractions! Make sure you catch the action on both stages: one near River House Seafood west of the Hyatt and the other across from Tubby’s and Huey’s.

Tours of the tall ship Peacemaker, First Friday Fireworks, Vintage Boats, the Wachovia Treasure Ice-chest, 3rd Annual Mullet Toss, New River Infiniti Auto Show, Fun-Fare Games, Frosty Beverages and of course Tons of Fresh Seafood make this premium fall festival one not to miss!

The Savannah Seafood Festival is presented by Verizon Wireless and is brought to you by Miller, Coca-Cola, Wet Willie’s, Wachovia Bank, Georgia Power Company, Commit Lozenges, SeaTow, Savannah Morning News, Ski Savannah, Real Yellow Pages, Cumulus Broadcasting-Savannah and is hosted by the Savannah Waterfront Association (a Non Profit 501(c)(3) organization).
