Does yoga bring up different emotions? Do you practice yoga to help with existing emotions? Join Lisa in exploring how yoga impacts the emotional body. This workshop will teach how yoga, the body and emotions interconnect and how specific sequences can work to balance specific emotions. There will be 2 mini sample practices (around 45 min. each), one to energize and one to calm and discussion.
Lisa Seago - Lisa has taught Ashtanga Yoga for 6 years and practiced Ashtanga for 11 years. She's trained and studied with many senior teachers, including traveling to India to train with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. Her daily practice, sense of humor, and flexibility guide her teaching. Additionally, she is a professional counselor helping individuals with a variety of needs, including addictions, trauma and improving relationships.
