Dr. Paul R. Fleischman M.D., psychiatrist, author, and Vipassana Meditation Teacher, will talk on “The Scientific World View and Vipassana Meditation” on Tuesday, November 17 at 6:00 p.m. at the Morris Center, 10 East Broad Street.
This discussion investigates how revolutions in physics and biology, during the 20th century, have transformed our vision of the world and ourselves creating increased support for and insight into Vipassana Meditation.
The talk is free and open to the public.
Dr. Fleischman, author of Creating Inner Peace, Karma and Chaos, An Ancient Path and other books, has been honored by the American Psychiatric Association for his contribution to the study of spirituality and religion in medicine. A meditation teacher in the spirit of SN Goenka, Fleischman has lectured widely in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
