Beginning at sun-up (7:00 A.M.) on St. Patrick’s morning Thunderbird Inn will serve up a hearty, yet cheap $3 breakfast of green (or white) grits, cheese biscuits, corn-beef hash, Krispy Kreme donuts, premium brew coffee and OJ. Plus, free green beads and a MoonPie(R) Crunch MINT for the road!

“We hope the community will stop in, not only for our neighborly welcome -- Erin Go Bragh, Ma'am!" -- but to help out the nearby Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights museum,” Mark adds. “For every breakfast served, we’re sending a $1 donation to the museum.”

After learning its neighbor could use a little financial boost, Thunderbird Inn volunteered to earmark its benefit-breakfast proceeds to the museum. ort.

“It’s a neighborly thing to do in the South -- having friends or neighbors over, dining leisurely over a big breakfast in Savannah’s magnificent outdoors. Our benefit breakfast is a fun way to share the special Irish morning on an animated Savannah day,” comments Thunderbird Manager, Mark Thomas. “Beyond the partying, we also want to give back to the community.”
