(Savannah, GA) December 3, 2007 – The Creative Coast (CC) announces Chris Miller will be
establishing a consulting firm and transitioning to an advisory and consulting role. CC will be the
initial anchor client of the new firm which will be officially announced after the first of the year.

In 2003, Miller worked with the Coastal Business, Education and Technology Alliance (cBETA), the
Savannah Economic Development Authority (SEDA), the City of Savannah and Chatham County to………… create
The Creative Coast (CC), with a mission to recruit, nurture and promote knowledge-based
business in the Savannah area. Under Miller’s leadership, CC assisted in the attraction and creation of
25 Savannah-area businesses that generated over 200 professional jobs and $11.2 million in annual
wages.

Miller helped plan the merger of CC with cBETA to create the new CC, with aligned resources and
an expanded charter. The new entity preserves all components of both groups while synchronizing
efforts to advance a higher-wage Savannah economy. It will accelerate efforts to recruit businesses
from outside the Savannah region, with coordinated programs targeting the entire southeast as well as
select national markets.

“With the CC-cBETA merger now complete, the time is right for me to serve the community in new
and additional capacities,” says Miller. “I will continue to support CC and feel I can explore my
own entrepreneurial interests as well as those of CC by serving it in a more consultative role.”
