I’m Jess, a former TV Host who helps online entrepreneurs captivate their audience by confidently and strategically being themselves at personality.media. I’ve been featured on Yahoo, Huffington Post, Growthlab, and OC16TV (Hawaii).
Personality.media is undergoing a rebranding strategy and seeking a Videographer and Production Assistant for both local and online work. Note the first segment is marketing swap only with opportunity to become ongoing (see notes below) and will also include lunch for 3 days.
-Must be available to shoot Oct. 8, 9, 10 between 10 & 2pm in downtown Savannah
-Responsibility includes both audio and visual
-After shooting, transfer raw files to dropbox (we already have editors on staff)
-This segment is for marketing only (unpaid), BUT there’s an opportunity to be on a consistent schedule of 2-8 hours per week @ $50 per hour shooting locally by Nov. 1.
-Must be available to Oct. 8, 9, 10 between 9:30 & 2pm in downtown Savannah
-Keep track of release forms for interviews
-In charge of managing live stream recordings for social media (there will be livestreaming “behind the scenes” of the actual shoot)
-Photo taking for social media
-Supportive coordination of interview locations/catering
-This segment is for marketing only (unpaid), BUT there’s an opportunity to be on a consistent schedule of 2-12 hours per week @ $30 per hour shooting locally by Nov. 1.
*The Production Assistant tasks are all within an hour range before/after/during recording and not separate.
Before each shoot, you’ll receive a detailed breakdown of the shots to make our time together as efficient as possible. Will not accept flighty, or often late people. I don’t like wasting my time, our client’s time, and certainly not yours! Objective is to get this down to a consistant system for future work.
Ideal candidates will both have an eye for good angles and an intuition for bringing out the best in each shot. Additionally they’re looking for a long-term opportunity to either build their repertoire or inject creative interest (I’m specifically addressing you videographers stuck doing boring local business projects all day).
For consideration, respond with:
1] Your website, if applicable
2] Links to a minimum of 2 reels you’ve shot
3] Experience, preferably with references or/social proof (reviews, testimonials if applicable)
4] High-level list of shooting equipment you either own or have access to
Upon acceptance, you’ll be contacted to set up an interview where we’ll get to know more about your work, experience, and goals; and additionally more specific details of the project will be shared.
